Mattress Warranty

Caring for your mattress
Once unpacked, leave your mattress uncovered in a well-ventilated room for a few hours to let it acclimatise. New mattresses may give off a smell after unpacking, this is completely normal and will fade with ventilation, airing the mattress daily helps.

Your mattress is designed to conform to your body, so some compression or settling of the fillings is expected. Do not turn your mattress over, instead, rotate it regularly (head to foot) and use a mattress protector, both help maintain its condition and lifespan.

Do not use detergents or chemical cleaners on your mattress, this can damage the cover material. Mattress covers with a zip are for manufacturing purposes only and are not washable, the only exception is a removable, non-quilted washable cover where clearly labelled, and any adhesive label must be removed before washing. Do not stand or store the mattress on its side, it must be kept flat at all times.

Warranty length
Your mattress core is warranted against faulty workmanship and materials for 5 years from your purchase date. The removable mattress cover is warranted separately for 1 year.

If an inspection or photographs show poor workmanship or faulty materials causing settlement beyond the tolerance shown below, we will repair or replace at our discretion. No cash alternative is offered.

Warranty policy
This warranty does not cover: normal ageing or wear and tear, changes in the hardness of any component, light discolouration of polyurethane foams, or dislike of the natural smell of any component.

We reserve the right to: substitute materials of comparable or higher quality where the original is no longer available; refuse service where the fault is due to something other than poor workmanship or faulty materials; refuse to handle or service any product that is soiled, unhygienic, or shows signs of abuse.

Examples of abuse include (but aren't limited to): use without bed linen; use on a bed base not designed for it (slats should be no less than 6cm wide and no more than 10cm apart); bending or folding the mattress; excessive wear such as jumping on the mattress or repeated pressure on one localised spot (e.g. sitting on the edge).

This warranty applies only where the mattress has been used and maintained in line with the care guidance above, and where purchased from an authorised retailer in the UK & Eire.

Please follow any weight guidelines provided for shelving, bunk beds, or storage items.
