Terms & Conditions — Fat Sofa

By placing an order with Fat Sofa, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Ordering & Payment
- All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
- You will receive an email confirmation when your order is received, and another when it is dispatched.
- We reserve the right to cancel orders that fail fraud checks, with a full refund issued.
- Product images, colours, dimensions and weights are approximate and for illustration purposes only.
- We reserve the right to withdraw any product from sale due to listing errors, with a full refund issued.
Delivery
- Delivery is made to the address provided at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect address details.
- We aim to deliver within 3–5 working days for England & Wales, and 5–7 working days for other UK mainland locations.
- We do not deliver to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, or Scottish Islands.
- Occasional delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for delayed deliveries.
- We recommend not booking tradespeople or disposing of existing furniture until your order has arrived and been checked.
Cancellations
- You may cancel your order before dispatch for a full refund. Contact us as soon as possible.
- If your order has already been dispatched, please reject the delivery at the door. A £10 handling fee will be deducted from your refund for rejected deliveries.
Returns
- You have 30 days from delivery to request a return for unwanted or incorrectly ordered items, provided goods are unused and in reasonable condition.
- You can return goods yourself to our warehouse (you cover shipping costs) or we can collect for a £45 fee deducted from your refund.
- Assembled items may only be returned within 14 days and must be in undamaged condition.
- The following items cannot be returned once used without protective covers, for hygiene reasons: mattresses, futon mattresses, toppers, and pillows.
- Original delivery charges are refunded at the base rate only.
- We reserve the right to withhold part or all of your refund if returned goods are not in reasonable condition through your fault.
Damaged or Faulty Items
- If your item arrives damaged, report it to us immediately with photographs via our contact page.
- We will replace the damaged part or item, or collect free of charge and issue a full refund.
- If packaging appears damaged on delivery, accept the goods but sign as damaged so any issues can be resolved quickly.
Incorrect Items
- If you receive the wrong item, do not assemble or use it. Contact us with photos and we will arrange a swift collection and replacement or full refund.
Liability
- We are not liable for incidental or consequential losses including lost income, damage to property, or third-party claims arising from delayed or damaged deliveries.
